Notice

The Commission is going to conduct
the Screening Tests for the posts of Lecturer 10+2 Hindi, Commerce and
Superintendent ITI, notified vide Advertisement notice No.06 –PSC of 2008
dated 23-05-2008, No.07-PSC of 2009 dated: 09-03-2009 and 12-PSC of 2005 dated:
20-09-2005 in different disciplines, it
is further notified that:
1. The candidates who had NET/SLET to their
credit shall be exempt from appearing in the Screening Test;
2.
Those who have obtained higher
qualification than the basic prescribed qualification in their respective
subjects are advised to read clause iv ,
v, vi (a &b) and Clause vii of para 8 of the above mentioned notices before seeking
exemption from appearing in the Screening Test which are being reproduced below
for the benefit of the candidates:-
“
IV. The number of candidates to be called for
interview on the basis of Screening Test
shall not be more than three times the number of vacancies referred to the
Commission.
Provided
that in any situation, when a reserved category candidate secures merit equal
to or above the cut off merit in open category, such candidate shall also be
called for interview in the respective category.
V. Where the number of applicants exceeds
500 against posts not exceeding 100 and where the number of applicants is more
than 3 times the
vacancies exceeding 100 then screening test through written examination shall
be held. On the basis of result of Screening Test the candidates in the ratio
of 1:3
i.e. 3 candidates for each
vacancy plus those additional candidates who have secured
marks equal to the last candidate on the basis of the ratio
aforementioned , shall be called for interview. (In the event of Screening Test
becomes necessary for shortlisting of candidates as
per the Commissions’ Business and Procedure Rules, the Screening Test shall be
conducted according to the syllabus already available on the website.)
VI. Subject to the limit indicated below:-
The candidates possessing qualification higher
than the one prescribed, who do not get shortlisted on the basis of
pre-determined criteria, shall be called for interview over and above the
shortlisted candidates.
The candidates
who possess qualification higher than the one prescribed may seek exemption from screening test
whenever the Commission decides to conduct such test for shortlisting.
Such candidates shall be over and above the shortlisted candidates on the basis of screening test.
VII. Where the candidates possessing
qualification higher than the
one prescribed are called for interview, over and above the
shortlisted candidates , the number of such candidates shall be restricted to
the number of vacancies in each category
on the basis of merit at the level of the basic qualification. In case of tie,
the candidate with earlier date of birth will be preferred.”
The candidates desirous of seeking
exemption from appearing in the Screening Test for the post of Lecturer 10+2
Hindi, Commerce and Superintendent ITI on the basis of higher qualification and
subject to the conditions stated herein above are, therefore, advised to submit
an application to the Commission seeking such exemption, within a period of 3 days from the issue
of this notice i.e. upto 01.03.2010 on the following
prescribed format.

However,
the exemption shall be
granted to such number of
candidates as may become entitled to, in
pursuance of clause Vii as reproduced herein above.
NOTE:-
1. Mere seeking of exemption shall not confer any
right on such candidates
which shall depend upon the decision of the Commission, to be
notified separately.
2. The
syllabus for the disciplines have been already notified.
However, the same is also available on our website www.jkpsc.org.
3. The
