J&K PSC SHIFTS ITS OFFICE PREMISES TO NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BUILDING AT RESHAM GHAR COLONY, JAMMU
Hon'ble Chief Minister, Jenab Omar Abdullah dedicated to the State of Jammu & Kashmir, a newly construced office complex for J&K PSC at Jammu on 29th April, 2010. An impressive function was organized at the new office premises of the Commission at Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu in which many dignitaries including Hon'ble Ministers and other members of State Legislatures were present.

Chairman UPSC inaugurates Commission’s web site.
On 25th of September 2004 the Hon’ble Chairman Union Public Service Commission, Shri Mata Prasad, formally inaugurated the web site of J&K.P.S.C

Notifications issued
The Commission recently issued notifications inviting application for the post of :
Lecturer Grade-I & II Leather Technology Engineering; Veterinary Assistant Surgeons; and Assistant Architect & Assistant Town Planner. The last date for applying to all these posts is 10.11.2004 by hand and 17.11.2004 by post

The Commission’s office premises at Jammu being shifted.
The office of J&K PSC located at Darbargarh is being shifted to a new building (Pragati Bhawan) located at Railhead/ Panama Chowk Jammu. It is proposed that on Darbar-Move the Commission will be shifting its office to the new building

Departmental Promotion Committee meetings
The DPC’s for fire services, Finance Department, secretariat Services, Geology and Mining Deptt., and Cooperative Department were concluded recently. Further the DPC for the Promotion of Private Secretaries in Secretariat Services stands fixed for 28th of September 2004

New Member Joins J&K PSC
The Governor of J&K State issued the
notification appointing Sh. Dr. N. A Jan, Ex -
Development Commissioner Fisheries, as the 7th Member of
J&KPSC. The Learned Member took up his office on
10.9.2004. (F.N.)
